Made-in-Gambia skincare jars

The Gambia's natural-skincare scene is small, personal and growing fast — mostly women running brands out of home kitchens and small workshops, using shea, coffee, turmeric, neem and hibiscus. Here are five we carry on the MiG shop.

1. Dija's All Natural

A full ritual in jars: hibiscus scrub, whipped body butter, mulberry & rice scrub, carrot and black soaps, and a turmeric soap. Soft, fragrant and genuinely handmade.

2. Black Healing

Coffee is the hero here — coffee black soap, coffee healing oil, deep cleanser and a turmeric polish. Great for anyone after a brightening, no-nonsense routine.

3. Ya Mama's Secret Beauty

Keeping it simple and effective with a neem & moringa soap — two of the most trusted ingredients in Gambian skincare, in one bar.

4. Koz Jamie

Cold-pressed coconut oil, natural soaps and ready-to-gift packages. The coconut oil pulls double duty for skin and hair.

5. Kura's Garden

Better known for food, their certified-organic moringa oil is a quiet skincare star — lightweight, vitamin-rich and locally grown. Read their story →
